Puesto Forecasting Analytics Specialist
Descripción de la oferta Executive Summary: The Forecasting Analytics position is responsible for ensuring that the data utilized in the forecasting process is accurate, consistent and compliant with the quality standards and defined rules so that it can be fed into the demand planning exercise in a valuable manner which allows the forecast accuracy to be improved by means of data processing/analysis. This position is also responsible for creating and maintaining the statistical forecast models for the different countries and portfolios and for the continuous improvement/fine tuning of the statistical algorithms. It also checks that the data is reported in the required structure and timelines and performs data gathering and data matching.

Job Functions:  Create statistical forecasts  Identify demand drivers, understand causal factors influence and extrapolate to future demand pattern behavior. Perform what-if analysis  Perform root cause analysis on the Forecast vs. Actuals deviations and identify actions to be performed to mitigate them  Identify demand drivers:  Prepare relevant material to facilitate research and discussion with the countries  Maintain demand planning system and software o Enter and modify data and ensure the correctness of product hierarchy o Monitor trends in forecast error o Identify demand drivers  Prepare relevant material to facilitate research and discussion with the countries  Maintain demand planning system and software  Prepare and maintain relevant KPIs and operational reports pertaining to demand planning process
